Business in Belize Edition

Hello friends, and greetings from Belize! I am down here in Belize this week working with our mission partner, World Gospel Outreach, (WGO) to explore potential opportunities to work together in this beautiful but troubled country. God has opened a door for CareLink that can help us expand our reach and touch more lives.

Despite the stunning beauty and incredible natural resources, nearly half of the population of Belize lives in poverty, and the business climate is in serious need of small business capital. The Belize GDP ranks nearly last of all Central American countries at $1.9 billion.

Today, I met with six inspiring entrepreneurs who are interested in starting a small business or growing an existing one. Stay tuned!
