Welcome to Philanthropy Friday!
Have you set your 2023 goals yet?
Let’s be honest. Most of us do not set goals. But according to a Harvard study, the 14% of those who do are ten times more successful than others. And only 3% of people write their goals down.
Having well documented goals is a very powerful habit. My good friend, Tom Hill (you should check him out at https://drtomhill.com/),suggests setting goals in the following six key components of life: spiritual, health & wellness, relational, intellectual, emotional, and financial.
So, have you set your 2023 goals yet? Remember to set your philanthropy / giving goals as a part of the financial component, so you can experience the joy of making a difference. And also very important: Have you instructed your kids about the power of goal setting? Encouraging your children to become goal-setters is a skill that can have a profound impact on the quality of their life forever.
