Hello friends!  The inspiring people we work with in the developing world have virtually everything it takes to transform their lives from poverty and want to success.  They have skills, passion, desire, and intelligence.  And after we provide them with business training, they have a tangible business plan that can propel them to the life of their dreams… improving families, improving the Church, improving communities, improving their country.  

What they lack is opportunity.  We provide the microfinance capital that creates the opportunity.

Consider Kathya, the young single mom from Belize I introduced you to last week.  She is smart and passionate.  She is an inspired artist, and creates some of the most beautiful hand-painted pottery I have ever seen.  Armed with capital, she will grow her pottery business, employ local artists to help her fulfill orders, and expand her little pottery business, De Colores Belize, into the thriving tourist markets in this beautiful and developing country.

Beyond that, this opportunity for Kathya also provides a future for her daughter, Kairi.  Kairi, a vibrant and delightful seven year old girl, helps her mom with her pottery business, and now, blessed with the opportunity that small business profits can provide, Kairi has a bright future - one filled with education, access to knowledge, and hope.
