Invented 50 years ago, this device changed the world - and Microfinance - forever….

Can you guess what it is?

Hello friends!  On April 3, 1973, Martin Cooper, a Motorola engineer and the inventor of the cellular phone, made the very first cell phone call outside the New York Hilton Hotel on 6th Ave., in Midtown Manhattan.  Ten years later, the Motorola Dyna TAC 8000X cell phone would hit the market at a cost of $12,000 in today’s dollars. The world would never be the same.

What does this have to do with Microfinance?  Click on my video to see how the mobile phone is helping micro-business entrepreneurs thrive in the developing world.
